Miranda has recently played: a woman who runs a sex club after her wife passes away, a woman who can’t get of Texas or the duty of taking care of her ex-boyfriend, Anna Wintour’s assistant, an Irish Grandmother, a farmer/puppeteer of a little chick, Queen of the Lost in a labyrinth, a woman whose inner voice is William Shakespeare, Anderson Cooper, Kim Richards, a high school cheerleader, a young piano prodigy who comes to run an Alzheimer’s facility, a caretaker of a partner who has Alzheimer’s, the voice of a sex concierge. All were a range of acting/singing/dancing. I strive for versatility!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Miranda Wilson, first as an actor in my advanced scene study class, then as a collaborator for our upcoming commissioned production, written by Heidi Armbruster.  Miranda finds a balance between playing a strong leading lady and a smart, versatile character actress.  I love watching her work, she is such a dynamic performer who goes after what she wants.  I am glad to be able to call upon her for readings, productions, as a reader in auditions – and always know she will do stellar work.
